Fire Detection and Protection

Fire safety is an area that demands the very highest levels of service and delivery. Not only do fires claim around 600 lives in the UK every year, but the damage and disruption caused to affected businesses and families can be immense. The consequences can be catastrophic.

Network Security and Fire can design, install, maintain and monitor a fully integrated addressable and conventional bespoke fire alarm system, utilising the latest technology devices.

All of our systems comply fully with EN54 and BS5839:2002 standards.

New Fire Safety Regulations now in force

EMPLOYERS COULD FACE CRIMINAL CHARGES IF THEY HAVE NOT DONE THEIR FIRE RISK ASSESSMENT CORRECTLY AND A DEATH OCCURS

Fire safety regulations now have new powers and responsibilities when the new government legislation came into force. The new act’s legislation stipulates that risk assessment and responsibility for fire protection is now firmly the responsibility of the owner/employer/occupier of any building from the 1st October 2006 when the new government regulatory reform (Fire Safety) came into force warns Eddie Bruce, Development Manager of Network Security and Fire.

Companies can undertake the assessment themselves but they should be cautioned that should they have a fire then their work may come under scrutiny from their insurers. Even worse if a death occurs and their assessment has not been undertaken correctly then criminal charges could be brought, so it is recommended that companies use an experienced industry trained assessor in case fire should strike.

But companies need not worry as help is at hand. Network Security and Fire offers an assessment, report and advice so that companies can be sure that they will meet all the requirements of the new Act.

Network Security and Fire is one of the counties leading installers of a wide range of security and fire detection equipment. The company commitment to working to the highest standards is recognised as the company holds the NSI Gold medals for Security and Fire installations.

Companies only achieve NSI Gold approval, the premier scheme for companies involved in the installation and maintenance of intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems in the UK having demonstrated that they are one of the top installers in the UK. Clients can be reassured that they deliver only the highest standard of service.

Network Security and Fire has been installing fire and security alarms for over a decade and a half so the NSI Gold approval is the icing on the cake commented Graham Giles.

We are committed to providing both new and existing customers the best service possible. In recognition of this, we are proud to receive the NSI Gold medal. As an NSI approved company we comply with all the appropriate British and European Standards and meet the requirements of the police and insurers. We are inspected regularly to insure that we continue to deliver only the highest standards to our customers.
